Our Mission
The Northern Alberta Osteoporosis Program was created to support patients with osteoporosis through education, outreach and research. Our aim is to empower patients to make informed decisions on treatment approaches and lifestyle changes that will allow them to live a healthy fracture-free life.

The group education session is completely free.
These sessions will not be available as recordings.
It is a multidisciplinary education session with several presenters. Each group session is about three hours long, including breaks and time for questions.
These sessions are only open to patients referred to the Northern Alberta Osteoporosis Program at the Kaye Edmonton Clinic.
We require that all new patients referred to NAOP attend the group education session as the information provided at the group class gives a good knowledge base in osteoporosis that will make your appointment with your osteoporosis specialist more fruitful.
A referral can be made by your primary care provider, another specialist, nurse practitioner, etc. It will need to be faxed to 780-492-6088.
